This page explains what personal data we use, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are. It covers visitors to this website and the people we work with: clients, suppliers and job applicants.
1. Who we are

2. What data we use and why
Messages through the contact form or by email
When you write to us, we receive your name, email address and message. If you call us, we also see your phone number. We use this data to reply and, if you ask, to send you a quote. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
We keep messages for up to 3 years after the last contact. If we end up working together, we keep them for as long as we keep the contract.
Applications on the Career page
When you apply, we receive your name, email, phone number, message and CV. We use them only to assess your application and invite you to an interview. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
We keep the data for 6 months after the recruitment ends and then delete it. If we hire you, it moves to your personnel file. Please donāt include data we donāt need in your CV, such as your personal ID number or health information.
Clients and suppliers
For quotes, contracts, invoicing and maintenance we use the name, job title, phone number and email of contact persons. For individual clients we also use name and address, and identity document details only when the law requires it. The legal basis is the contract and our legal, accounting and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR), as well as our legitimate interest in defending our rights (Art. 6(1)(f)).
We keep this data for the duration of the contract and then as long as accounting and tax law requires, currently between 5 and 10 years depending on the document.
ISCIR course registrations
The courses are run by ISCIR-authorised companies we work with. If you sign up, we pass on the details needed to register you: name, contact details, education and experience. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Visits to the website
The server hosting the site automatically logs your IP address, browser, the page you open and the time. These logs help us keep the site secure and working, and are kept for as long as the hosting company sets, usually a few weeks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you accept statistics cookies, we also use Google Analytics to see which pages are read. Without your consent, Google Analytics does not start. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. See our Cookie policy for details.
3. Who receives the data
We donāt sell data and we donāt use it for advertising. Data may only go to:
- our colleagues who handle your request;
- companies working for us: website hosting, email, accounting and IT services;
- ISCIR-authorised companies, only if you sign up for a course;
- Google, only if you have accepted statistics cookies;
- authorities and courts, only when the law requires it.
The siteās icons load from cdnjs (Cloudflare), which receives your IP address in order to send them. The video on the home page (YouTube) and the map on the Contact page (Google Maps) only load if you click on them.
4. Data sent outside the European Union
Google and Cloudflare may also process data in the United States. Both companies take part in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of protection.
5. How we protect data
The site uses a secure connection (HTTPS). Messages and CVs sent through the forms are not stored on the site; they go straight to the companyās email, where only the colleagues who need them have access.
6. Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to restrict its use, to receive it in a format you can use elsewhere and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. If you gave your consent for something, for example Google Analytics, you can withdraw it at any time in the cookie settings.
For any of these requests, email us at office@lisscom.ro. We will reply free of charge within one month. We donāt make automated decisions about you.
If you are unhappy, you can file a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP), B-dul G-ral Gheorghe Magheru nr. 28-30, sector 1, Bucharest, www.dataprotection.ro.
7. Children
This site is meant for companies and adults. We donāt knowingly collect data about children under 16.
