Information Regarding Personal Data Protection
S.C. LISSCOM S.R.L processes personal data of data subjects – individual clients – in the course of its commercial activity, in compliance with the applicable data protection legislation, namely the EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) regarding the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.
The categories of personal data processed include:
- General identification data, such as: first name, last name, home address
- Special personal data or data with general identification applicability, such as: personal numeric code, identity document series and number
Failure to provide personal data prevents compliance with legal obligations and the execution of the transaction.
The personal data is processed for the following purposes:
To fulfill legal obligations:
- Accounting registration using data from identity documents
- Reporting transactions/operations to authorities
- Managing inspections by authorities
- Document storage and archiving
- Processing payments
To conclude and execute commercial contracts:
- Managing contractual relations with partners
- Proper execution of transactions
- Data quality management
- Asserting, exercising, or defending LISSCOM’s rights in court
Personal data may be disclosed to:
- The data subject
- LISSCOM representatives
- Other individuals or legal entities processing data on behalf of LISSCOM
- Contractual partners of LISSCOM
- Judicial authorities
- Public authorities
Data is processed for the duration of transactions and thereafter if a legitimate business need exists (e.g., providing information requested by the data subject or complying with legal, tax, or accounting obligations).
Some personal data may be transferred outside Romania to EU/EEA countries or internationally. Transfers outside the EU/EEA are based on standard contractual clauses or other legally recognized safeguards.
